• Employment Type: Travel**CERNER IS REQUIRED***NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS*- Unit: PICU- # beds: 8--average census 2- Certs: BLS, PALS- Ratios: 1 to 2- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: Rarely- Nurse Aides: None- Weekend Requirement: Every other- Holidays: 2 out of 3- Scrub Color: Navy Blue- Tele: Spacelab tele monitors, nurses must read own strips- Vents: Yes- Peds Hospitalist Intensivist in house: Yes, in house 24/7- IV Team: None- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Call: If census low and scheduled, may be asked to be on standby- Shifts: 7a ,7p- Floating: general peds and burn- Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts PICU, 1 shift peds, 1 shift burn (for peds)- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Respiratory failure, dehydration, seizures, suicide attempts, Ods, posioning- Additional Notes: MINIMUM 2 years PICU experience; use medfusion pumpsUnited Staffing Solutions Job ID #777717.
