of duties, from flight readiness checks to communication with
ground teams.

- Preferred consideration and transfer opportunities to over 350

-The pilot position provides customer oriented, high quality air
medical transport service in a safe and efficient manner. The
pilots are expected to act as a proactive and integral team player,
both in flight, and during ground operations, utilizing
communication and technical skills which will strengthen the
company goal of being held in the highest regard with in the EMS
industry. -Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a schedule as set forth by the company.
- Must be prepared to occasionally serve extra duty shifts when
called upon, due to the absence of other pilots for vacation, sick
leave, etc.
- Ensures aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, these items
to include, as described in the appropriate manuals, but not
limited to:All FAR requirementsAll REACH requirementsAircraft
cleanliness dutiesAll flight crew requirementsAccurately completes,
in entirety, all required paperwork duties, i.e., duty shift change
form, load manifests, duty/time sheets, all within scheduled due
dates.Ensures that any and all pertinent information about flight
operations will be disseminated to his/her shift change pilot
and/or disseminated through the Company Communications Board per
policy.Attends meetings when required, and is available for
training and check-flights outside of normal duty shift
rotation.Upholds current company policies and procedures to systems
and electronic platforms.Maintain documentation of required
licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and
advanced procedures.Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of
all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.Maintains
positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS
representatives, hospitals, and the public.Attends pre-mission
briefings and mission debriefing and completes necessary
documentation.Complies with safety standards to assure safety of
self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to
liftoff.Conducts aircraft safety briefings as needed.Committed to
being on-time, reliable, professional, and meeting our elevated
standards in safety and service.Use appropriate communication
methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between
departments, vendors and team members.Work collaboratively and in a
professional manner with all allied health and public safety
personnel.Other duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted,
or changed at any time at the discretion of management, either
orally or in writing.Job requirements and Qualifications:
- 2000 hours total time
(helicopter).1000 hours PIC (helicopter).500 hours cumulative night
experience.100 hours cumulative IFR experience.EMS and FAR 135
experience preferred.Commercial Instrument Helicopter
Rating.Current Class II Medical Certificate.Preference is given to
applicants who have an ATP rating.
- Airbus EC-135 or H145 or UH 72 experience required (250 hours
total)Preference is given to applicants who have previous NVG
experience. -Requirements Other:--- Duty weight not to exceed 230
lbs, including flight suit and bootsRequirements:
Excellent customer service
skills.Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and
persuasively.Ability to maintain composure under pressure, work
efficiently and accurately with frequent interruptions, and
set/re-set multiple priorities.Presents a professional image as a
REACH flight team member.Maintains a positive team attitude with
flight crew members, maintenance technician and communications
specialist by working cohesively.Works independently and tolerates
high stress levels while maintaining a good rapport with
co-workers.Maintains ongoing knowledge of relevant aviation

Requires activities requiring a
moderate amount of standing, sitting and walking.Able to conduct
activities requiring a moderate to rigorous amount of static
pushing, pulling, reaching and lifting.Capable of lifting 75 lbs
floor to bench height.Ability to hear routine aircraft
noises.Maintains a "duty" weight (body weight + uniform/equipment -
helmet not included) of less than 230lbs for Rotor Wing
(Helicopter) operations.Must be able to wear a commercially
available respirator mask with proper fit when requested.Requires
close and distant visual capability (Class 2 Aviation
Medical).Periodic hands to key ability (typing).Coordinate multiple
tasks simultaneously. -IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION!This base is
